Glo Knows Dressings

Many of us enjoy the coolness of refreshing and light foods in the summer. For the most part, I crave
salads in the summer months, some with protein and some without. A good salad needs a great
dressing to liven it up. Here are some of my favorite and simple homemade ones that can be prepared
ahead of time and refrigerated, then used when needed. Enjoy!!

Creamy Dressing:
1 cup Greek yogurt
1/8 cup Dijon mustard
3 tablespoon or less of maple syrup
3 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes
Mix all ingredients, until well combined.
*Great for cold slaw, as a dip, or on Greek Salad

Balsamic dressing:
6 Tablespoon balsamic vinegar
1 tablespoon agave or maple syrup
1 teaspoon Italian seasonings or herbs de Provence
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
Salt & pepper to taste
Mix all ingredients, until well combined.
*Great on raw salads and over grilled vegetables and/ or protein

Citrus dressing
1 ½ teaspoon herbs de Provence or Italian seasonings
¼ lemon juice
¼ cup orange juice
1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley1 tablespoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon maple syrup
¼ cup avocado oil or oil preferred
Salt & pepper to taste
Add all ingredients to a food processor and emulsify.
*Great tossed with quinoa, as a marinade, or a dip for raw veggies
